Mi Escuela Es Su Escuela (My School Is Your School), a radio show broadcast from Montgomery College, provides information about education to Latino parents in the Montgomery County, Maryland, community. I was recently interviewed on the show to talk about the Latino youth’s dreams study we conducted in 2012. The interview covered various topics, including my educational background (as a way to promote advanced health education in the community), the purpose and main findings of the study, and recommendations on what parents can do to support the education of their children.
